REVIEW OF WERELING BY S. FEASEY

In Wereling by S. Feasey, Trey is a fourteen year old boy who wakes up one morning only to find that his life has changed. His room is in shambles and the worst part of all he does not remember a thing. A mysterious visitor comes to Trey's school and claims to be his  long-lost “uncle Lucien” with freakish fire-flecked eyes and skin that blisters in the sun. Trey finds out that he is a Werewolf and suddenly, he finds himself living in a luxury penthouse at the heart of a strange and sinister empire built on the powers of the Netherworld—vampires, demons, sorcerers, and djinn. There is a girl—Alexa Charron—who is half vampire, half human, and insanely pretty, with powers all of her own. Trey is falling for her. 
Trey is training night and day to control the newly discovered power lurking inside him. Now, demons are closing in on every side, and the most psychopathic bloodsucker to rock the Netherworld wants to destroy him. Above all,  he  must face one terrifying question:
Is he a boy . . . or is he a beast?

STEVE FEASEY lives with his family in Hertfordshire, UK, where he sometimes hears a strange and unidentifiable howling just after midnight. Wereling is his first venture into teen fiction

My Thoughts-

I loved the book! It was action packed, mysterious and entertaining. It was an easy read and the ending left me craving for more. In most of the books that I read, vampires hated werewolves and this was a fresh new approach to the battle between the two. Trey and Alexa get along well and there was a definite chemistry between them but it never blossomed. Maybe the relationship will grow in the next book in the series. I recommend this to all young adults and the young at heart who love supernatural novels.
