With the war between humans and dragons over the past 1,000 years still looming, Hope had to muster her courage to fulfill her duty as the keeper of the dragons, even if it means losing the lives of many, including her beloved ones. The kingdom of Norr had a new queen, Ariana, and she s out to destroy the kingdom of Ruine and the Realm of the Dragons to avenge her kingdom s loss in the war at the time of King Grant, her predecessor. My Thoughts: 

I have always been a fan of dragons and the mystery behind them. Hope is responsible for protecting the dragons and she develops a relationship with them that cannot be broken.The evil queen, Ariana wants to destroy the dragons with the Flute of Enchantment and Hope needs to stop her before it is too late and the dragons are destroyed. Ms. Mackie has written a novel that is full of magic, fantasy, adventure, evil and a bit of romance and definitely worth reading. I especially enjoyed the descriptions of the various dragons and their relationships with each other. If you like dragons then this is the book for you.
