About the Green Works® Reverse Graffiti Gallery:

The Green Works Reverse Graffiti Gallery is based on the idea that cleaning can be beautiful, especially when done naturally. The project has transformed an urban space in Los Angeles into a dynamic reminder that small, every day green choices can make a big impact.

Drawing inspiration from nature, artist “Mr. Kiji,” used Green Works cleaners as the medium to create murals in a mundane underpass in Silver Lake, with the hope that the unexpected art exhibit illustrates that cleaning can be beautiful and inspires viewers to do their part.

About the Artist: 

Mr. Kiji is influenced by his eclectic upbringing – born in Kyushu, Japan and raised in New York City. His dynamic, clean-cut style, background in geometric shapes and lines, and range of work and mediums – from murals to newspaper graphics to painting – made him the perfect choice for the Green Works Reverse Graffiti Gallery. His work has been featured at the Mallick Williams Gallery in New York, ARTWALK New York, Giant Robot, Canvas LA, ArtBasel in Miami and the streets of NYC where he is based.

I'd originally planned to have a monkey draw two random numbers out of a hat (then use the inverse hexadecimal value - because you cannot trust monkeys, not at the prices I'm willing to pay) but apparently there are laws against monkey labor. There are permits involved. It's a whole thing. So instead I asked a friend to think of two random numbers while dressed in a monkey suit, without telling him what the numbers were for. This seemed sufficiently random to me, although it later occurred to me how worrying it was that my friend would actually do this without ever asking why. There might be a thinly veiled cry for help in there somewhere...

I tried the products for a full 30 days and I  was very impressed with the system. The products were delivered very quickly and were packaged well. The instructions included were easy to read and follow. I suffer from rosacea and I was afraid that the products would irritate my skin but it actually helped the redness. I still used my prescription cream first and I felt that my skin felt more fuller and the lines around my eyes and mouth diminished. My skin did not fell greasy and was a perfect base to my foundation.  Many of my co-workers commented on the improvement of my skin and I will be referring them to the company.
