REVIEW OF WHITE RABBIT BY M. SCHULTZ

White RabbitIn White Rabbit, the readers shall expect a plethora of both fortunate and unfortunate events in an interesting life of man’s best friend: dog.  Who says only human beings have a story to tell?
Having been exposed to different life situations as he has been taken care of one household to another, Dee-O-Gee, sometimes called Floyd, and likewise Henry, sometimes Barny, has learned much about survival, hunting, death, letting go, acceptance, and most importantly, making the right decisions at all times.
You will be amazed at how a dog possesses cunning abilities and immense determination to broaden its horizon and to achieve freedom and contentment in living.
Admire—and enjoy our good friend dog’s journey—or sympathize with him as he surpasses several mishaps along the way. His memoirs bring us closer to endow affection to one of God’s creations.

My Thoughts-

Although I enjoyed the book, there were parts that disturbed me. The dog had many abusive owners that hurt the dog physically or emotionally.  I could feel the dog's pain as well has his happiness. The author was very creative to write it through the dog's eyes. I did not care for the ending because it just left me hanging and I said to myself "Whats next?" Maybe the author has a sequel in the works and my question will be answered in the next book.

  2. This sounds like a book that would have me tears many, many times :) Watching movies like Marley and Me just tear me up. Sounds like a wonderfully written book, though, and one more people should read. Man's best friend isn't just a stupid dog!
